Your Trusted Moving & Storage Partner Across North Carolina

Carolina Services Group of Companies has a proud legacy rooted in service, integrity, and family tradition. Our story began in 1955, when James M. Thornton founded Patterson Storage Warehouse in Fayetteville, North Carolina. His vision was simple yet ambitious: to provide reliable, full-service moving, transportation, and storage solutions to individuals, businesses, and military members.

More than six decades later, that vision continues to guide us. Now operated by the third generation of the family, Carolina Services Group remains committed to the same core values—exceptional service, dependable performance, and unwavering dedication to our customers.

Full-Service Moving & Storage Excellence

What began as a single moving and storage company has grown into five full-service locations across Eastern North Carolina. We provide comprehensive residential, commercial, and military relocation services, backed by over 500,000 square feet of ambient and climate-controlled storage.

Secure Records Management & Shredding

Expanding beyond traditional moving and storage, we launched Patterson Record Storage and Shredding Center in 1991, located in Fayetteville, NC. This division provides secure, flexible, and compliant records management solutions, as well as reliable document shredding services for clients throughout Eastern North Carolina. From long-term archive storage to routine shredding programs, we help businesses safeguard their information with confidence.

Our Commitment

At Carolina Services Group of Companies, we honor our history by always looking forward. As we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care to every person we serve. Whether moving across town, across the country, or managing critical records, our customers trust us because we treat their needs as our own.

Over 70 years later, our mission remains the same: providing dependable service with the integrity, reliability, and personal touch that only a family-run company can offer.
